I have been coming to this website for as long as I can remember and even though it says I have only been a member since 2008, I was visiting even before that. Within the past 3 months or so I feel as if every other write up on the main page is extremely overcritical or negative. OS used to be where I came to feel good about sports video games and share my passion within the forums. Articles used to always look at the positives and still make you feel good about the game, regardless of its flaws, ... Read More

In my opinion, what truly hurts Madden besides the obvious game-play flaws is the lack of player's real faces. NBA 2K is one of my favorite sports series of all time because every player's face is in the game and gives it an authenticity like no other.

I fully understand that there are many more players in the NFL than there is the NBA but at least get the majority of the starters. I saw some footage of a pregame video for Madden NFL 13 and they showed Darrelle Revis with his helmet ... Read More

After years of just dealing with semi-accurate NCAA rosters, I am finally taking a stand. Starting this past weekend I began a quest to create the perfect NCAA rosters. When I say perfect, I mean: correct face, correct hometown, correct number, correct year, correct equipment, correct height/weight, correct body proportions, and most of all...correct rating, based on extensive research. I am half way through the QBs and I am fully aware this could take a month, but I won't stop until I am satisfied...if ... Read More

For years we have been complaining because we felt the Madden franchise and its developers have become complacent due to lack of competition in the marketplace. This may or may not be true but it is human nature for one to not work as hard when there is no penalty for underachieving. If that was the case I would go to work, take a dump on my desk and then order a pizza...but that's not reality.

It hit me today though that Madden and its developers do in fact have competition and it ... Read More

I don't know about anyone else but from all the videos I have seen thus far from E3...Madden just hasn't impressed me. I watched several clips and it looked exactly like Madden 10 from pregame to ingame animations - I saw nothing that made me say "cool" or get excited in the least. NCAA 11 has me much more excited from what I've seen this year..

I am a huge Madden lover so don't mistake me for a 2K fanboy - I just want to know if anyone feels the same as me about this and is kinda ... Read More

The future of sports games is upon us and real-time physics is at the forefront. Backbreaker and its unveiling of the Euphoria physics engine have opened sports video gamers' eyes everywhere. Within the next couple of years, this will be in every single sports game we know and love because it is how sports games should all be...realistic and natural.

What is real-time physics you ask? Real-time physics is an approximate simulation of the human body and how it would react in any ... Read More

I love Madden and I am a huge fan but there is something that is really pissing me off as the days go on. EA is taking the "Ask Madden" feature which has been in every madden for years and calling it "GameFlow"...how does no one realize this?

EA needs to stop recycling old things and just renaming features that have been in the game all along, trying to trick people into thinking it is something new and innovative. Just give us better on field animations and make every game feel different. ... Read More

It's finally happened. After years of waiting, Madden has finally just stopped all the gimmicks and BS and listened to the fans! They have finally added all the little things that have been missing, and installed a level of realism that we have hungered for.

Thank you to everyone in the development team for Madden NFL 10.
